TEHRAN – The city of Semnan in northcentral Iran will hold a gastronomy festival and contest from July 4 to 15.

The festival will be held in two sections, one dedicated to recreational competitions between families while the other aims to discover top cooking talents, CHTN reported on Saturday.

Cuisine-associated workshops and crafts exhibits are amongst side section programs for the event, which is organized by the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization.
